We welcome both parishioners and visitors to our website. Please see the information below and throughout our website for details on services, events, and ways to donate or become a new member of our church community.
The Greek Orthodox Church of St. Sophia is a parish under the spiritual and ecclesiastical shepherding of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople.
His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America
It has been a quite some time since St. Sophia has been blessed with a Pastoral Visit from an Archbishop, and so we look forward with great anticipation to such an upcoming visit. On Sunday, March 8, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America will be joining us to celebrate a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy. Plan to come early and experience the entire majesty of this beautiful liturgy. His Eminence is expected to arrive at approximately 8:45 am. Following church services, everyone is invited to attend a Lenten lunch in honor of His Eminence. This promises to be a most memorable occasion in our church history.
