A NEW & EXCITING CURRICULUM IS HERE!


Something new and exciting is coming to Saint Sophia Sunday School! We are excited to introduce The National Sunday School Curriculum created by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America to help our children grow in their knowledge, love, and experience of the Orthodox Christian faith.


MORE THAN A CURRICULUM — A CALL TO MINISTRY


This new program offers engaging resources designed to help children:


  • Learn and understand the Orthodox Christian faith
  • Deepen their relationship with Christ
  • Grow in their love for the Church
  • Connect what they learn with the life of the Church
  • Develop a faith that grows with them throughout their lives

Clergy, teachers, parents, and families are all part of this exciting journey. With prayer, enthusiasm, and creativity, we will guide the next generation toward the fullness of life in Christ and His Church.


OUR DIRECTOR


We are overjoyed to welcome back Maria Sokaris as our Sunday School Director. Maria brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and enthusiasm to our Sunday School and is excited to help take our program to the next level. She has been working diligently throughout the summer to prepare the new curriculum for our teachers and students.
