The Greek Orthodox Church of St. Sophia is a parish under the spiritual and ecclesiastical shepherding of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople.
2025 Harvest Dinner Dance
A heartfelt thank you to all who participated at the dance. Your support and enthusiasm helped create a wonderful night of fellowship. We appreciate every volunteer, attendee, and contribution that made the event a success. A big thank you to the bartenders and all the sponsors of the night who donated the great food and who supported the event. The proceeds will fund future St. Sophia projects chosen by the youth of our parish, ensuring the next generation has a voice in shaping our future.
Grace Unbound
We thank Bishop Demetrios Kantzavelos for an outstanding and in-depth discussion of his new book “Grace Unbound: The Sacred Activism of an Orthodox Bishop” on November 18. This was moderated by Paul Grondahl, director of the NYS Writers Institute and TU staff writer.
Valentine's Dance
